“Behind the Mask” Bad Era Fan Fiction
Our intrepid fan fic reader, Forever Michael clicked a “LIKE” on Facebook last week and turned me on to a new Fan Fic that you all might like. What was cool is that the same day it’s author posted for the first time on our page too. So I would like to welcome Enchantress to our growing list of linked writers here at DangerousPYT and also thank her for being a long time reader as well. She is doing a great job with her story and many of you may recognize her work from the web…BTW her site is very pretty too.

Wow thank you so much DPYT! And a big thank you to Forever Michael for spreading the word about my story. I woke up this morning and saw all these hits from your site and I was like, huh? What happened? Thanks girl! I hope you like it and I’m glad you like the site. It was hard work, as you know, but I’m happy with how it’s turning out.
On a side note, I know you use Word Press as well and saw that you did the update. How is it? Any problems? I’m nervous about the update. Eek!

All I can say is thankx to you great ladies for writing. Reading has the ability to take someone to a far off place and out of reality for a while and lets face I so totally need that sometimes…. LOL…. DYPT: You know I love you girl…. And Echantress: Girl I love your story too…..

The hardest part was making sure I had a GOOD FULL backup. I was terrified last night that I would mess up all this hard work and it would be gone. Once I had done that, the upgrade took like 3 seconds (no lie) and it is pretty cool from what I can tell. Admin tools on the top of the main page (I was at ver 2.9.1) etc…it seems to look more vibrant too. So far its “Winning” LOL I just had to go there.
This may be a stupid question but what do you mean about a good full backup? There hasn’t been an update since I started my site so I’m not sure how to go about it without screwing it up. I would be heartbroken if I lost everything.
You need to go to your host and into your control panel and make sure you back up all your stuff. My host has a little video tutorial that walked me through it (I cant imagine what a huge website would have to do) after that then you are good to go with the upgrade. BTW you should do your backup at least monthly just in case. At least your “home” files. You will see when you get to your cpanel.
I dl’d a program that is supposed to backup the WP themes and everything but it didnt work right so I just did a complete backup and crossed my fingers. So far so good.
