Michael was grateful for the dancing he had been performing for the anniversary shows; it meant that he was in good shape. He needed to be, because his hands were quite full of one very angry woman. Lexi was between his legs and he had her pinned to the back of the couch with his upper body. As soon as Joanna had pointed at him he had grabbed Lexi by the wrists and started to hold her down, but she was doing all she could to get up and at the object of her new found rage. He really didn’t understand why she was so upset but he really didn’t have time to think about it either.
“Alexis, what the hell is wrong with you.”
Michael whispered through clenched teeth.
Lexi didn’t bother to hold her voice down and she yelled out as she glared at the blonde who had begun to back slowly away.
“Pendejo! Let me go!”
“No, not until you calm down.”
“Ce qui est mal avec elle Michael?”
How could he tell her what was wrong when he didn’t know, but he replied to Joanna,
“Je ne sais pas, mais vous devez vous rendre.”
Lexi reared back giving Joanna a glance at her naked body before she said,
“You son of bitch, you speak French with her? Hell NO!”
“Damn it, I just told her to leave. Calm down”
“No, screw you.”
“Mes vêtements sont toujours là”
Michael couldn’t think of what to say in French so he just blurted out in English,
“Joanna, please just leave. I will send your clothes later.”
As soon as he said it, he realized that it was the worst thing that could have come out of his mouth. Lexi managed to pull her arm free and elbowed him in the chest, as he leaned forward to try to wrap her up again the couch tipped forward, dumping them out onto the floor in a heap. Lexi rolled over and found the empty wine bottle she had drank and flung it at a quickly retreating Joanna who ran through the door right as Frank opened it, leaving the bottle shattered beside his head. Lexi sprang to her feet and started after Joanna but Michael was able to grab her ankle, pulling her back down with him.
“Get her out of here Frank! Get her out of here now!”
“I came for her suitcase”
“Later! Shut the door and GO!”
The door shut with a slam and suddenly it was quite. Lexi lay on the floor breathing heavily while she stared at Michael. When she finally spoke it was not what he thought she would say,
“You speak French to her?”
“You f*cking speak French to her?”
Before she stood he saw the tears in her eyes…he didn’t know why but he knew he hurt her and he was at a loss of what to do about it.
Lexi picked up the nearest robe off of the floor and walked to the bedroom. Expecting her to lock him out, Michael swept the remaining robe up and followed quickly behind but she merely walked out onto the balcony and watched as she adjusted the belt around her waist and lit another cigarette.
He stood silently as she brought her shaking hand up to her mouth and took a long drag off of it before she wiped her eyes.
“So…I guess it’s my fault. I never asked you to say it Michael. I just assumed…”
Another drag and a long silence hung between them before she continued,
“I just assumed…that ahh it was just me, you know in your life.”
“What? Lex? Of course it’s just you. What are you talking about?”
“Don’t Michael; don’t play your stupid innocent mind games with me…not right now, not tonight.”
Sitting down on the lounge Michael sat back in resignation,
“I’m sorry she found us like that Lex, but I honestly don’t know what the hell you are talking about.”
“Stop! Stop lying to me!”
Her yell echoed in the night and made him jump in his seat. She turned and watched him for a moment and realized he too had tears in his eyes.
“Why are YOU upset Michael? Maybe you should have thought about this before you slept with her.”
Staring up at her with his mouth open he was speechless, he really didn’t know what to say….
“I’m going back to my apartment to change. I think I would rather be at the site tonight.”
He spent several minutes by himself on the balcony trying to pull it together before he stepped back inside the bedroom. She was half dressed in the clothes she had brought for the hospital in the morning. Her gray pencil skirt hugging every curve and the white demi-cup bra showing a hint of nipple as she bent over to slide her heels on her feet, he wanted to take it off of her, not watch her walk away.
“I need to explain.”
“There is nothing to say, I made assumptions that we are exclusive. I should have known better Michael. Why would you want to be tied down to me and my daughter?”
“Our daughter.”
“Oh right…our daughter. How stupid of me.”
“I’m not sleeping with her Alexis.”
“Uh huh…”
He made the space between them in two strides and took the white silk blouse from her hands.
“It’s Tys…Frank. He likes her. She is just a fan, but he likes her. So I let her come up sometime.”
“That’s a good cover MJ”
She used her fingers as quotes and then stood with her arms crossed.
“It is true. I swear.”
“So, what about the time…the night I came here to tell you I was sick?”
“The guys were all here, it wasn’t just me. I left them here to go be with you that night. That’s why I brought the kids with me. They were getting loud and drunk and even with the kids next door I didn’t want them exposed to that.”
“I see her outside all the time Michael. The other girls don’t like her much, it’s because of you.”
“No, it’s because of Frank. He brings her up to spend time with her on the pretense of seeing me.”
“Why did she have a key tonight? Why was she able to just walk in on us?”
Michael felt safe enough that he took Lexi’s hand and sat her on the bed before sitting down beside her,
“When we left town after the attacks, all these fans were stranded here Lex…the planes were grounded and they couldn’t get home. I had Frank and them open up our rooms so that they could be safe. I guess…well you know, knowing Frank…he let her stay in here. I did come back early tonight, I think they were just coming back to get her suitcase but we were here. Lex, Babe…I swear I have never slept with her.”
“French…why? It’s so intimate.”
Michael looked down and shook his head, she could see the tears form in his eyes and he half heartedly waved her off.
“Please don’t…”
“I’ll wait Michael.”
It took him a moment but he finally answered,
“Hunt…hmmm…I always wanted to learn to speak French for Hunter. We were so happy there, I proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower. I just practice speaking it with Joanna cause she is around is all.”
The silence hung in the air between them like a heavy burden, thick and veiled. Until Lexi reached for her blouse,
“I should go…”
Watching as she stood and pushed her arms though the sleeves. He couldn’t help but feel her slipping away from him. It was like he was in a tunnel and she was moving farther and farther away. His body seemed heavy and he just watched as she began to button the fabric up the front not caring to move or react to stop her…
“Is “lannah with my Mom?”
Suddenly he was snapped back into reality and he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her back with him on the bed.
“Stop it, stop acting like a child.”
“Let me, let me go!”
Straddling her hips he held her arms above her head,
“No, you’re not leaving here tonight. Just admit it Alexis, you know you jumped to the wrong damn conclusion. Tell me…”
Lexi twisted and turned under him but he held her tight,
“Say it Lex, just say you’re sorry.”
“No!” she spat at him. “How dare you have these girls in your room. What am I supposed to think?”
“Why don’t you know! What more am I supposed to do?”
The constant thrusting of her hips against his groin began to arouse him and her breast slipped out of her bra cup.
“Let me go…Michael I want to go home.”
Arching her back towards him, her nipple was in perfect position for his lips. Licking it roughly before his lips wrapped around it, he sucked until the color drained away. His teeth took tiny bites pulling and grinding before once again sucking her soft flesh to a high point. As his hips naturally started to grind against hers, his lips found their way up her collarbone and neck. When he reached her ear he whispered in a voice filled with lust,

Dragging his lips across her cheek he paused above her mouth, waiting for her reply…..
Lexi raised her head and her lips met his, her surrender the only reply they both needed at that moment.
Feeling her relax underneath him was as much of a turn on as his lips upon her breast. He knew he had conquered her fears and established his dominance over her body but he wanted her heart back where it belonged. As their lips parted from a passionate lock he whispered,
“Do you trust me Lex?”
“I want to Michael…I really want to.”
“Please believe me, I love you. I know sometime I don’t know how to show you, but I love you.”
Lexi’s eyes ran over with tears as she lay under him and she choked back a sob before she finally spoke,
“I…I, Michael, I’ve seen so much horror the last week…I don’t have time in my life any longer for games. You either have to be with me and “lannah or not. I don’t need you anymore.”
His hand ran down her thigh and pulled up her skirt, pushing it above her waist,
“You don…don’t say that. We need each other. Lexi, I love my daughter….and you so much”
Michael pulled her g-string until it broke in his hand and threw it off to the side of the bed, then slowly began to push his hard shaft inside her.
Her eyes closed in ecstasy as he filled her with pleasure….
“See Baby, we fit together perfect. You and me…” A groan of lust came from his throat as he slid back and forth through her tight walls.
“Ahhh Michael….gawd”
Lexi tried not to react but she loved him desperately and he knew how to make her feel pleasures no man had ever made her achieve.
“That’s it girl, see….give me your love.”
Michael moved faster, closing his eyes as she wrapped her legs around his hips, grinding and thrusting back and forth; as their moans combined as one as their mouths met in a symphony of expression and desire.
“Don’t lie to me Michael, that’s all I ask.” Lexi implored as she neared her completion
“I won’t…I didn’t.”
His head rolled back and he lost himself to her body. She felt her orgasm near and reached for her peak, nails biting into his skin….teeth into his shoulder. Her cry sent him over the edge; she stiffened and called out his name. It was like a plea or a prayer, something that was sacred and he felt it to his very soul. When they connected he lost control, releasing inside of her until he was exhausted, spent ….and near collapse.
Lexi opened up to him about the horrors of her week while he was away. The maddening things she had seen and discovered that made her stop the third night and pick up a pack of cigarettes out of the blue and start to smoke one after another. It was just because she needed something to keep her mind occupied, to keep the nightmare of Ground Zero at bay when she wasn’t there. Food was out of the question, so she smoked some more. The whispered nightmares she spoke of in the dark scared him too, but he promised her that he would be there…if she would promise to throw away the cigarettes.
Eventually she dropped off to sleep and he stepped out of bed and wrapped the robe around him yet again. Standing in the living room area of the suite he saw the mess they had made earlier and he called Frank over to figure things out. When he arrived they set the couch upright and cleaned up the bottle before sitting down to talk.
“Make sure she is out of here by morning.”
“Her flight isn’t until noon”
“I don’t care, take her to the airport early.”
“Michael, what is going on? I thought you were going to take it easy?”
“No! No…I can’t let Joanna mess up what I have with Lexi. I lost her once Frank, I won’t let her go again.”
“But Joanna is a nice girl, and she really likes you.”
“She’s just a girl, I’m not letting what happened one time ruin what I have going.”
“How did you get out of it Mike?”
“I told Lex that you liked her, she is good with it…I guess. I’m serious though…that deal after Lisa was just you know her giving me a, damn ….it was nothing. I don’t want her. She is fun to have around…but I don’t have feelings for her. Get rid of her Frank.”
“Ok, it’s done.”
Michael walked Frank to the door and locked it behind him, He was keyed up and knew there was no way he could sleep so he poured a shot of whisky and sat down on the couch and tried to sort out his thoughts. There was so much to think about, but he knew he loved Lex…and Alannah.
As Michael drank his whiskey Lexi laid in the bed, she had woken up with a start. Used to the cat naps from the triage at the site she didn’t know where she was at first and she sat straight up in the bed…that’s when she heard the voices. That is when she heard Michael speak of having been with the girl….and her heart broke for the second time that night.

For me the biggest issue is this: MJ lied by what he DIDN’T say. He lied by omission. If he had just told Lexi about the BJ and when it happened, it could have put some things into context and ultimately been a non issue. If he didn’t say anything about it at all, it implies to me that he: 1) gave the encounter and/or Joanna a lot more weight than he admitted to Frank, or 2) he was entertaining the possibility of continued trysts. My confirmation comes in the fact when that French bitch is still hanging around and he lets her. If it was nothing, she’d be history.
I have no trouble believing MJ, in real life, had multiple women going simultaneously. He could have kept them apart so they didn’t know about each other. I see that potentially happening in this story. MJ was a wonderful man, but he was still a MAN. He had an ego and he was really weak when it came to temptations like women. Chicks like Joanna satisfy his need to be thought of as stud and let’s face it, I’m sure she’d be at his beck and call. It’s hard to see any guy not succumbing to that, MJ being no exception. Lexi can’t ultimately be controlled that way and that makes her attractive to him, but too much of a challenge at the same time. He wants his cake and eat it too and life ain’t like that.
He lied, plain and simple cause he don’t wanna lose his boo and the ability to spend time with his daughter! He shoulda just said she sucked my d*** and that’s all. I guess saying he didn’t sleep with her is true, but now Lex thinks he’s a sack of s*** cause she’s been left in the dark!
I do think having Joanna around was an ego boost! EVERY man wants to feel wanted and attractive…that’s why they cheat…cause someone made them feel attractive, needed. I also think she made him feel younger…remember he told Schmuley he despised old age, having a pyt around (Joanna & Lex) makes him feel like a young man.
I so hope everything comes out…he really does love Alexis and Alannah.

He’s Joe’s son & he’s making every woman in his life pay for how Diana (that bish stole his innocence!) treated him.
This happened BEFORE he & Lex got back together so if I was Lex, I wouldn’t even want to know about it because he was a free agent & I would be scared to know what (& who) else he did. Plus, she heard him say it was a one time thing that meant nothing. They are going to have to have a little talk about honesty in the morning.

Lexi needs to remember the Mike she met & all the drama he put her through & see if she wants to stay around or not because this panther isn’t, hasn’t, & won’t change his spots….
(MJ was a panther in his Black or White video for obvious reasons: he’s black, sexy, & sleek).
Yeah, Lexi needs to let him have it. I don’t care if it was just head. He LIED to her. That’s whats gonna fuck him up. When Lexi goes off on him, he totally deserves it. It’s the principle.. He shoulda told the truth. I don’t think he cares about Joanna’s ass at all and she was just around just because he didn’t wanna hurt her feelings. It was asked why would it be now that J would be a deal breaker? I think its because Lexi is not the idealistic girl she once was. By now she has lost a baby and a husband, survived cancer, and now lived and worked through the nations biggest tragedy. She doesnt need his money, and she has the child that they wanted together…so she can make it on her own. There are no more fears. If MJ is still up to his manwhoring (in her mind) she does not have to put up with it…

Wonderful update. I really thought Michael was telling the truth when he told Lexi nothing happened with Joanna. How could he lie to her like that. I think both her and Alannah are better off without Michael. I had a feeling that Lexi would over hear the conversation with Frank and I was right. She must confront Michael about it.
I agree that speaking french is very sexy and I dont blame Lexi for her reaction. She is told for games now and Michael may have made the biggest mistake of his life.
But when I think of what Michael has done for lexi when she was sick I think she needs to let him prove to her that he can change and be the man that she needs.

Well let’s see…I think that Michael has a hard time displeasing anyone…his goal in life seemed too always be not to “rock” the boat…I agree with someone here that said not lying outright but lying by ommission..I think he was afraid of upsetting her…but then again, she’s a smart woman our Lexi. Michael, tell her the truth–you seem to require the truth from your women and everyone else around you…then you comply also sweetie!
I am not sure why he would have her hanging around…why did he have anyone hanging around..it was not like he orchestrated a lot of went on around his life…shit was happening and I think a lot of the time he was probably like just let me go to my room and get away from it all..but again, not really telling people to get the f***k out, just trying to avoid confrontation. And perhaps as someone else said here..he knew Frank was interested in her so he let her hang around. Frank did go back to look to see if any women were still hanging around..but of course she is interested in Michael and Michael alone…that doesn’t mean that Michael is interested in her though.
Again, very good writing….your sex scenes are always extremely honest and forthright..I write also..however I go for the more romantic, lovey dovey stuff..but that’s not to say that I don’t like the nitty gritty stuff either! Can’t wait for more girl…take your time and formulate your thoughts…we will await patiently..at least I will!
TBH, to me, MJ was never the man Lexi needed but, he was the man she wanted. The “simple” life Lexi wanted, being a dr & having a family, was never the life MJ could provide. I know she loves him but, I always felt like she loved him more than he loved her.
I never felt MJ needed Lexi. He wanted to prove to himself he could love someone besides Diana/Hunter. When he got married twice & had 2 kids, he proved he didn’t need her to have the life he wanted.
Sometimes I feel like they just hook up around MJ’s schedule. Has he ever “dropped” someone or anything he was doing for Lexi? Yeah, he helped her when she was sick but, just think if she got sick during the History tour when LMP took her kids out of school & out of the country just so she could ride his jock? Was he gonna drop all of THAT for Lexi? She dropped Antoine, left her family at points, almost left her career/dream at a time!
I know I’m going way back but, I’m a big picture person so the present holds more value to me when I put the past & possible future in context with it. I guess that’s why Joanna means nothing to me. I’m not saying for him to keep Joanna or lie but, in the grand scheme of things he’s been silent/lied about worst & he’s not going to stop; he’ll just keep going.
Lexi needs to decide is she staying or going but she been through worst so if she’s going it has to be a based on the whole relationship not just the last groupie he was with.
She can fight back if she wants to stay…maybe she should teach MJ a lesson…does she still have Jackie’s number?
Sometime the straw that breaks the camels back is the lightest piece. The culmination of pressure that finally becomes too much.
However, sometime what you want or who you need is not neccessarily who you fall in love with.

It’s clear to me that MJ really isn’t good for Lexi. We all agree he can’t give her what she needs and she has sacrificed more than he has to keep any kind of relationship in tact. She’s old enough and strong enough to make it on her own and I don’t think she wants to compromise anymore.
I’ve always seen Mike as someone who couldn’t be happy giving all his love to just one woman. He belongs to the world. Once you’ve had the adulation of a stadium audience, do you really think the love of one woman will cut it??
In his mind, I believe Mike held the idea of a conventional, monogamous relationship up as the ideal. In real life, he tried for it. He clearly wanted it. He said as much. It was the touch of normalcy he saw other people have that he didn’t. In the end, he did not lead a conventional life and thus, did not know how to have a conventional relationship. It’s like telling a leopard to change it’s spots. It can’t.
Does Mike need Lexi?? I think in his mind, he thinks he does. She can give him that sense of normalcy. She can cater to his needs and give him an anchor in life (as long as it’s convenient for him). In reality though, no, he doesn’t need her. He needs the whole bloody world!

I understand Cinbad’s point but,I think MJ could of had a conventional marriage but, it would had to be with a non-celebrity who wanted to continue to be a non-celebrity & be along for the ride whether it may lead. It might have to be a secret how Janet did her 10+ years with Rene. Besides, when you’re alone long enough you just don’t even bother anymore (um, not that I would know).
I don’t see any woman alive having the emotional fortitude necessary to be the wife of Michael Jackson, whether she be a celebrity or non celebrity. You don’t JUST get MJ, you get all the mess that comes with him too. The media, the frenzy, the fans (yes, US!), the scrutiny, the lack of privacy. I think it would be like living in the middle of a s*%$ storm 24/7. I’m not saying it was what Mike wanted or deserved. I’m just saying it all comes as part of the package. It would make me crazy. I value my privacy and freedom more than anything in the world…no amount of love or money would make me give those two things up.
I think that’s what finally got Debbie Rowe in the end. I think she really did care for Mike and understood him in ways most didn’t, but having the entire world know her personal business was just too much for her. Who wants to live in a fish bowl.

Okay, I ate these chapters up but the comments were longer than the chapter! But each one was oh so good and I agree, I felt so bad when Lexi overhears *sob* I remember Real Michael saying he could be hard to live with, I’m sure I remember him saying that, and it’s true! I can see all this happening.
I love you dpyt because you don’t try and make Mike this Angel, this giggly, super sweet sex attack all the time, sometimes he could straight be a thoughtless asshole and needs to be put in his place.
